MOTIVATIONAL POWER DIARY!
OK, well I thought it was a good name.
I’m going to be trying this out going forwards, and I want you to do the same.
First, you’ll need a diary. Yes I know, diaries are for sexually repressed people & Anne Frank, but guess what – this is not going to be any old ordinary diary.
Here is your mission – every day, scribble down 3 bullet points. Next to each bullet point, you’re going to write a good quality about somebody you came in contact with that you’ve learned something from, even if it’s something very subtle, or something positive that happened to you.
This is going to be your new habit. It’s going to take 3 minutes a day, and you’re going to do it for a month and see how you get on. After this month is over, you’ll have 90 items to look at & reflect over.
Mine for today would be…
- Somebody I know gave me a hug for absolutely no reason and it instantly made me feel good. I should do this more.
- One of my friends spontaneously came over to ask me how ‘life’ was going. Should ask one of my friends this at least once a day.
- Wrote a list of all the things I want to accomplish, and really enjoyed it. Must remember to check back in 6 months and make sure I’m making progress.
